I am currently testing the e-commerce plugin Eshop.  It is very simple to install, uses Paypal and can handle digital downloads.  So far I am satisfied with the plugin but will need to do more testing.

I use Outlook at work but am not able to sync with my phone because of company restrictions.  In order to overcome this limitation I set up a Gmail account.  I found this article that compares the features of both.
