WP Ecommerce

I have been testing the plugin WP Ecommerce.  There are many options to allow customization.  The basic setup is quite simple.  However, there are some basic things like displaying the store page that are less than intuitive.

The basic version is free.  It probably has enough options to meet my needs at this point.  The more advanced options come at a cost though not very high.

One of the options that I find most interesting is the ability to sell items for download.  I am still having trouble getting that part to work completely.

  • I am still not able to get the digital downloads to work correctly. Also, this plugin may have locked up my site. I had to deactivate all plugins and themes before I could get the site back up.

Now I am in the process of trying each plugin to determine the one that caused the problem.

I was unable to get this plugin to work for digital downloads. The documentation for this plugin is not very complete or easily accessible. It has not been deactivated and I will continue looking.
